The number of sites included in the analysis was 28, 26, 22, and 11, and Pearson’s correlation coefficients between the average ruggedness index and average autocorrelation parameters were 0.01 (ns), 0.398 (p < 0.05), 0.470 (p < 0.05), and 0.542 (ns) for stand ages 5, 10, 15, and 20 years, respectively.
