The provenances which ranked among top three in survival rate in Austria are depicted as black squares. In most sites in Austria, provenances from the Cascade region of Washington and Oregon ranked high in survival except for a few sites in the continental East of Austria where provenances from interior British Columbia were also among the top survivors. Top surviving provenances were mainly from an altitudinal range of 500–1400 m asl
