The data were standardized based on the time period between the measurements of the sample plots in the NFIs 4 and 5 to account for biases due to different interval times between two consecutive NFIs, i.e., on average 10.1 years between NFIs 1 and 2, 10.8 years between NFIs 2 and 3, 8.8 years between NFIs 3 and 4, and 8.7 years between NFIs 4 and 5
