In b, dashed horizontal lines correspond to the thresholds, y = 0.25 and y = 0.5, used in the three sets of conditions that define species requiring frequent, intermediate, and occasional vegetation control according to forest managers. “Groups” correspond to the plant group to which each species belongs and “species numbers” to the number assigned to each species and given in Appendix Table 4
